Why Exlink Exists
J-1 visa exchange programs change lives. Every year, thousands of participants travel to the United States to study, work, and build connections that last a lifetime. Behind every one of those experiences is a sponsor organization managing applications, host families, compliance, finances, and reporting — often across dozens of spreadsheets and disconnected systems.
We saw program directors spending more time on paperwork than on the people they serve. Compliance officers losing sleep before Department of State audits. Finance teams manually generating hundreds of invoices. We knew there had to be a better way.
In 2022, we launched Exlink — a platform purpose-built for exchange program management. Not a generic CRM adapted for education. Not a study-abroad tool repurposed for J-1 programs. A dedicated system designed from the ground up for the unique workflows, compliance requirements, and operational realities of designated sponsor organizations.
Today, 35+ organizations trust Exlink to manage their programs — from initial lead tracking through post-program follow-up. Our platform has connected 112,000+ host families, supported 21,500+ participants, and integrated with 2,800+ international agencies.

Milos founded Exlink after seeing firsthand how exchange program sponsors struggled with fragmented tools and manual compliance workflows. With a background in software engineering and a passion for cultural exchange, he built Exlink to give sponsors a single platform that handles everything from applications to SEVIS reporting.
